Awkwafina An American singer and actress began by releasing a humorous rap track dealing with issues related to sexuality and race. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood when she dropped a series of raps. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was via the trumpet. After classical and Jazz training She delved into hip-hop as a teen. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. She even spent a short time studying Mandarin in Beijing. After graduation, she start focusing on music. The song My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and was later featured on her debut album Yellow Ranger. On the album, there was other hits that went viral, including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$. The final track was connected directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide released in the year 2015. A musician and author was on her resume she set her sights on acting in a third project. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors and Storks. In 2018, she landed an array of noteworthy performances, which included Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out,"In Fina We Trust in June in the same year.
