Linda Edna Cardellini's parents are businessman Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born in Redwood City in California. Her parents are of Italian (from her maternal great-grandfather), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish heritage. Linda was the youngest of four children in San Francisco Bay, California. When she was 10 her interest in acting after she was a singer during a Christmas production at school. In addition, she continued to perform in school plays and community stage productions. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. After she graduated Linda was forced to decide between moving to New York or Los Angeles to study theatre. LA was the best option for her. Linda was chosen for her first role, in the TV show Bone Chillers (1996). Her breakthrough part was when she got her first role in Freaks and Geeks (1999). Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning show.

Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989), better known by her stage name Lily James, is an English actor from England. Her career began in 2010, with the British television show Just William, in which she attended London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella (2015) was her first feature film, following the role she was the lead actress in Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, the period drama. James went on to portray Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) as well as starring in various films, including the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! We're Back (2019) and Yesterday (2018). The role she played as Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 won her the Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
